good afternoon, i found your webpage on my search for answers about what i need to start with a project i would like to buy. The project is an old watermill with existing MVE of 13 kwh, old system using restcapicity of the turbine, main power go to the sawingmill itself. I am miller from holland with diploma(1990) i was managing 2 mills in holland for 20 years and teacher to new millers(instructor miller). i want to buy the mill in cz, together with my czech girlfriend and change the system so we will use the sawingmill only as museum and give full capacity of the turbine to a new (bigger ca. 40kwh) generator. Can i operate such a system with my diploma from holland, in other words will i get the licence needed to be MVE selling this amount of electric.Thanks in advance for your help. Dear Sir,
according to Czech Act No. 458/2000 Sb., part § 5, you don`t need any special qualification to obtain the licence for operating any renewable powerplant under 20 kW. If you will increase the install power up 20 kW, you will need to prove your qualification or work experience in energy area. I mean your qualification and 20 years experience will be quit enough. But the responsible office is ERU (Energy Regulatory Office) www.eru.cz. You should ask them: eru@eru.cz
